FOR YOUR CORRECT UPDATE, YOU SHOULD DAILY OBSERVE THE ANNOUNCEMENTS POSTED ON THE NOTICE BOARDS LOCATED IN THE BUILDINGS FOR TEACHING AS WELL AS ON THE DEPARTMENT’S WEBSITE.

REGISTRATIONS OF FIRST YEAR STUDENTS

Around the first two weeks of September, successful applicants must access the special pre-registration application, and then fill it in and submit it online, via the website of the Ministry of Education (www.minedu.gov.gr.). In this application all successful candidates declare if they have already been registered in another department during previous years, provide and confirm their personal information, state clearly that they wish to register and make clear that they will send the required supporting documents by September 22; at the same time, they should accept the content of the corresponding reliable statement.

Clear photocopy (NOT the original) of the Access Certification Form

Four (4) photos of the police ID type.

A clear photocopy of a police ID or passport

Individual Student Statistics Form (this form is filled out by first-year students and is included in the registration documents)

COURSE REGISTRATION – RENEWALS

Course registrations are only made online via the https://e-secretary.uop.gr. service during the registration period for the new semester (THE FIRST TWO WEEKS OF EACH SEMESTER), according to the Study Programme as registered in the Electronic Secretary system. In the event that the registrations are not made electronically and on time, the student cannot participate in the corresponding examination periods. See also DIGITAL SERVICES

REGRADING

4th year students have the right to submit applications for regrading, which are submitted to the Secretary during the period of course registrations. The maximum number of fall and spring semester courses for regrading is seven (7).

GRADUATION CEREMONY

Usually the graduation ceremony takes place twice a year, in December and June. Graduates fill out a Graduation application and submit it in person to the Secretary or send the supporting documents either by post (by ELTA/COURIER) or electronically to the Secretary’s email (phil-secr@uop.gr.). In addition, they must answer the Questionnaire, within the application deadline set by the Secretary. Along with the above supporting documents, they should hand in their Academic ID or the Health Booklet (if they were insured at the University) and leave a copy of their Bachelor’s Thesis to the Library, in printed and electronic format (CD); at the same time, the University Library should give them a document, certifying that they do not owe any books to it.
